1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Ruth Everlene Personal Stylist with Colour.
“You”, “Client” refers to the individual/s receiving colour analysis and wardrobe edit services.
“Services” means in-person colour analysis consultations, wardrobe editing and any related materials provided

2. Services Provided

Colour Analysis
We provide in-person personal colour analysis services designed to help clients understand colours that may complement their natural features. Results are subjective and based on professional opinion, lighting conditions, and individual perception.

We do not guarantee specific outcomes, personal satisfaction, or commercial results (such as increased confidence, wardrobe success, or compliments received). Refunds are not offered for change of mind or personal preference once the session has been completed.

Location
Appointments are held at our home studio in NSW. Address details will be provided after booking. Please arrive on time, as late arrivals may shorten your session.

Bookings

Individual bookings are for one person
Pair bookings are for two people attending together
Pair bookings cannot be split into separate appointments

Wardrobe Editing

You agree to provide a safe, clean and reasonable working environment. Please ensure pets are secured if necessary.
You remain responsible for decisions about what items to keep, donate, sell or discard. While we take care when handling your belongings, we are not responsible for normal wear and tear or pre-existing damage.
You acknowledge that all styling advice is subjective and final decisions remain your own.

Service Areas for Wardrobe Edits

Ruth works over suburbs of the Illawarra, most areas of the Southern Highlands (Robertson, Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale, Berrima and New Berrima) and some areas of southern Sydney.

3. Bookings

All appointments must be booked in advance.

A booking is only confirmed once payment (or deposit) has been received.
You are responsible for ensuring your availability at the scheduled time and location.

5. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be made via credit card (additional charge of 1.9% transaction fee for credit card) or direct bank deposit.
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed bookings will not be affected

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of payment or deposit, except where required otherwise under Australian Consumer Law.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered a refund or alternative appointment.

7. Refunds

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund if services are not provided with due care and skill or are not as described.

Change of mind, dissatisfaction with subjective results, or personal preference does not entitle you to a refund once the service has been delivered.

8. Health, Allergies & Sensitivities

You must inform us prior to your appointment of any allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, or concerns (including reactions to fabrics, makeup, or lighting).

We are not responsible for adverse reactions unless caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care.

Wardrobe edit service If at any time we believe the environment is unsafe or unsuitable, we reserve the right to end the session early. In such cases, fees may still apply.

9. Personal Belongings

Clients are responsible for their own personal items during appointments. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during or after your consultation — including colour palettes, reports, guides, photographs, or written recommendations — remain the intellectual property of Ruth Everlene Personal Stylist with Colour.

These materials are for personal use only and must not be copied, shared, sold, or reproduced without written permission.

11. Photography & Marketing

With your consent, photographs or videos may be taken during your session for educational or marketing purposes (including social media and website use).

You may opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

13. Privacy

We collect and store personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Your information will only be used for booking, communication, and service delivery purposes and will not be shared without consent unless required by law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply.
